Bamboo matcha whisk and scoop
The matcha tea ceremony, also known as the Way of Tea, has been a sacred part of Japanese culture since the 12th century. The chashaku, a bamboo tea scoop for measuring the precious green matcha powder into the tea bowl, together with the 120 ponds whisk are an essential part of that ceremony. To achieve a uniform and bubble-free matcha froth, whisk briskly in M-shaped, not circular, strokes. Just remember: it’s all in the wrist.
