A New Journey — An Evening of Women, Rituals and Intention

On the 27th of February, we hosted a special dinner at Tea Stories in Amsterdam — a small, intimate gathering of women, created together with Moaie and Eva Dixon.

It was not just a dinner, but a moment to pause.
To reflect on what has been, to sit with where we are, and to look ahead to what we want to create.

Aligned with the energy of the Year of the Horse — a symbol of movement, courage and transformation — the evening became a quiet ritual of transition.

A Table to Gather

We welcomed a group of inspiring women, each bringing their own stories, perspectives and energy into the space.

There was no rush, no structure to follow — just a shared table, conversation, and presence.

When women come together with openness and vulnerability, something shifts.
A different kind of strength emerges — one that is soft, grounded, and deeply connected.

Introducing Functional Drinks

During the dinner, we also shared a first preview of something we have been quietly developing — a new line of functional drinks inspired by Asian wellness traditions.

These drinks are not just about flavor, but about intention.

We served:

Ginger Amazake — a fermented rice drink made with koji and fresh ginger. Warm, grounding, and traditionally associated with supporting circulation and inner warmth.

Glow Tea — a blend of tremella and goji berries combined with osmanthus milk tea. Inspired by ingredients long used for nourishment and skin hydration.

Rather than presenting them as “healthy drinks,” we see them as small rituals — simple ways to support the body while creating a moment of pause.

A Shared Direction

This dinner also marked a new direction for Tea Stories.

A shift from simply serving drinks, to creating spaces and experiences that bring people together through ritual, culture and intention.

Collaborating with Moaie and Eva felt like a natural extension of this — a shared vision around wellness, femininity, and mindful living.

Carrying It Forward

What stayed with us most was not the menu, or the setting, but the feeling in the room.

A sense of connection.
Of slowing down.
Of being present, together.

This is what we want to continue building at Tea Stories.

Spaces where people can gather, share, and reconnect — through tea, through food, and through small rituals that bring meaning into everyday life.
